Free Film Screening: Sauvages (Savages) (PG)
Hosted by New Forest Friends of the Earth with Greener Brockenhurst.
Join us for a free screening of Sauvages, a beautifully crafted 2024 stop motion animated film, dubbed in English. PG, 84 minutes.
The film follows a young girl’s quest to rescue a baby orangutan from loggers in the Bornean rainforest along with her cousin. It explores deforestation and Indigenous land rights through a powerful and engaging story suitable for all ages.
What to expect

Welcome introduction from the hosts.

A chance to meet local environmental groups and learn more about what they do; including New Forest Friends of the Earth and Greener Brockenhurst. You can also meet Orangutan Appeal UK and find out about their work; they will have a stall on the night.

In house bar opens from 6pm for drinks and snacks.

We’re collecting 27 hard-to-recycle items (check out the full list on the accompanying poster) and, thanks to and our volunteers and 7 fantastic local businesses, they’ll all be properly recycled, so bring along your items.
